About Us

The International MOMS Club® was started in 1983 by our founder Mary James, an at-home mother in California. Wanting to meet other mothers and find other at-home children for her children to play with, she looked for an organization that met during the day and allowed her to come with her baby and preschooler. Finding none, she decided to start a brand new organization just for at-home mothers, and the MOMS Club was born. With a wide array of activities each month, the club provides support, friendship and opportunities for moms who are home with their children full- or part-time.

Our chapter, MOMS Club of Holmen, started in 1999 as MOMS Club of La Crosse. Chapters are always evolving to best fit the needs of moms and so the local chapters have gone through changes over the years. Currently our chapter covers Holmen and Onalaska and there is a nearby chapter covering La Crosse and West Salem. If neither of these meet your needs, be sure to contact the International MOMS Club® for information on other chapters or starting your own.

We have more than 40 members, with new people joining all the time. We have mothers starting out with their first newborn to experienced moms with multiple children. Whether you're looking for friends, advice, or just something to do, you're sure to find it here.
